Downloads get deleted after the browser close.

When I download a file, it saves it to my hard drive successfully. And when I close Firefox, the file that I just download will get delete. I had tried uninstall and reinstall Firefox, delete my profile. Although on the same machine, Internet Explorer doesn't have the same problem. Any suggestions you have that may fix my problem?
