"Yahoo! optimized Firefox" - What is it and should I install it?
I got this popup: Attention: Please upgrade to the latest Yahoo! optimized browser to ensure the best Yahoo! experience.
Not interested in getting any yahoo search functions like extra bar, tab, etc. unless they're genuinely useful. Don't want to go through the hassle of un-installing if it's useless.
Thanks

From OP: yep, it not only installed the Yahoo crapbar, it also changed the default search engine to Yacrap and it also changed the Firefox Navigation Bar quick search box to Yacrap. An hour later I have it deleted and changed back to Google which required going into about:config and altering stuff there (scary for me.) Not easy to find answers about how to uninstall all the changes it made.

Yahoo! Optimized Firefox is just a Firefox browser optimized or used better with Yahoo!. You should only install it to get the best out of Yahoo! or if you use Yahoo! at lot. IT is your choice whether to install it or not.
From OP: Hoping to hear from actual users as to how it benefits them.

So, anybody have an answer?
