Recently on my older iPad (5th generation) whenever I do an image search and click on a highlighted image (any highlighted image) or the corresponding thumbnail link, doing so always and only results in a blank page. If however, I choose the option to open the image in a new tab, then and only then does the search go to the desired site. All the other search options seem to work fine. I have cleared my caches and deleted my histories to no avail. Removing and reinstalling Firefox did not help. Rebooting didn’t do it either. Have I caught a malware that my antivirus protection has failed to detect? Is it a bug in the app? I’m stumped.
