So my TB installation has approx 45k messages, 8k directories, the directories go 11-deep and some messages go back 25 years. When I ported into TB from Eudora in 2006 I had a problem that all the mailboxes imported were "open" and so I started closing approx 6k drectories in the left-hand pane and ended up simply going back to Eudora. In 2011 when I ported in again everything seemed to be ok until I realised that all the incoming messages were marked "unread". I used Thunderplunger to clear the "unread" flag / set the "read" flag and that was ok - except that the developer stopped supporting Thunderplunger about 3 years back meaning that to mark messaged "read" that had been filtered some way down the directory tree was a bit tedious. But whatever.

Last night out of nowhere 6,434 messages came up as "unread" - some of these dating back to 2008, some 1999.... wtf...? But most of all these are spread all the way down the directory tree and it is going to take ages to clear them all down. I cant be bothered with doing that.

So questions as follows: 1. is this another v115 bug? and 2. given that Thunderplunger is no more is there some nifty way to mark all messages as "read"? Thanks
