How do I totally clear out Firefox memory and reinstall? I tried what I could, and when it reloaded, it knew all the bookmarks, etc.

I was getting suspicious activity from a website only when using Firefox. I cleared all history, cache, site settings, then I saved my bookmarks in a file (named it something non-default), and deleted the program by uninstalling, trying to erase everything.

When I reinstalled, Firefox gladly announced it had recovered old bookmarks.

How do I erase EVERYTHING from my computer that Firefox knows about, so I can be sure I have a clean install?
