Firefox.exe not running continuously - windows kiosk usage

Hello there

I am using Firefox as a windows kiosk application. One feature of this windows functionality is the restart of the kiosk app as soon as it gets closed.

Sadly this detection causes problems with firefox as the firefox.exe does not seem to be running continuously during startup.

Therefore the eshell (which manages the windows kiosk) tries to restart firefox and therefore a new instance is opened.

I don't know what causes this behaviour of firefox, maybe the Updater? If you start firefox via cmd and with the /wait flag it also does not seem to run continuously and the scirpt proceeds before firefox is closed again.

Firefox was installed with a msi installer and it is on the ESR channel.

Is there any way to fix this? Thank you beforehand!
