Mozilla VPN will protect your whole device, it does not matter what browser you are using. It is a stand alone app for the price of $4.99 a month. Compared to Firefox Private Browser Network, which is is $2.99 monthly. The extension only covers browser activity and doesn't have any configurable settings, whereas the Mozilla VPN has more configuration options and covers all internet activity on the device.
