Impossible to login to Firefox Lockwise on a new Android device

more options

Dear community,

I just bought a new android phone. Im logged in Firefox Sync on many different devices. I have firefox Lockwise on my older phone working perfectly find.

So i just installed Firefox lockwise on a completely new phone. After login/pwd, i get an email with 2FA code to enter.

After entering the code, Firefox lockwise goes back to the home screen and displays "Incorrect password".

The login displayed under the error is from an older email.

I have changed the email in my firefox sync account to a new one and i think this is jacking the system up.

I think the intervention of someone from Mozilla who can have access to the database is needed because i think the login system is being confuse between my new email and the old one.

any help appreciated,

Thanks, James

Ok, so i finally managed to fix this issue.

I wasn't using the "good password" to login. (Thats weird...)

For some reason, i could login with an older password and it messed up the login process.

I used the good password this time and was prompted with the 2FA, thats how my account is setup.

With the "older password" i was sent a code to my email and that wasn't working.

Still kind of weird though.
