new android app update doesnt show my downloads? help?

Ever since firefox for android updated, all the pictures I save to my phone are nowhwre to be found. The only way I cna open them ks through the notifcations tab. They do not show up in my downloads folder or anywhere in the gallery. I checked both the SD card and the internal folders. Nothing. All the old fixes don't work anymore. Where are my pictures going??

Also sharing images to other apps has become sharing linksninstead, any way to change that?

Hi

Firefox for Android does not have a built in download manager, but this is something we are working on and may be included in a future update. In the meantime, you will be able to find your downloaded files in the “Files/Downloads” folder on your Android device.

On the SD card, or the internal storage? Because I checked both, and they both show that I've downloaded nothing in a week despite downloading test pictures before posting.
