Need to uninstall Lockwise or will have to quit firefox...

I simply want to use Firefox WITHOUT the PITA Lockwise.

Have used Firefox since beginning, this thing called Lockwise is a royal pain and I want to uninstall it. If I can't, I'll have to leave Firefox and that wouldd make me very sad. you have one week to figure this out or I'm gone!

Lockwise is the new name of the built-in Password Manager. Here's how you disable it:

Go to the Options page using one of these methods:

  • Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
  • Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
  • Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
  • Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it

In the left column, click Privacy & Security

On the right side, scroll down to the Logins and Passwords section and uncheck this box:

[_] Ask to save logins and passwords for websites

Done.
