Firefox has started adding the file extension .MAN to files that are already compressed. The files in question are compressed .hwt files used to instal faces on Huawei watches. Easily enough to remove the .man from the file name after download but is there a way to stop Firefox from doing this?

Yes desktop does the same

So it must be a wrong server config.

Is this from Firefox because Chrome actually does the same thing? But Firefox only started this from latest builds

No, I don't think so. Chrome relies only on the extension of the file, when Firefox is checking the content-type.
