Hi. I recently upgraded my to a samsung galaxy A10, moved everything from the old phone, no problem, Firefox as default browser was working, then after a recent update I can't get internet access, I get this message:-

unexpected response from server firefox doesn't know how to communicate with the server. 1 check to make sure your system has the personal security manager installed 2 this might be due to a non-standard configuration on the server

what does that mean, and how can i retrieve the situation, and why did it happen in the first place? simple english please, i'm confused enough that i lost the connection in the first place thanks

Hi

Does your new device have all the recent updates for all apps from the Google Play store

Can you also open the Android settings app, select System and then System Updates to check for Android updates?

The message that you are seeing is not one I have heard of from Firefox - and it does not "feel" like a Mozilla written message. It may be linked to your Android device.
