Can take several tries to successfully complete an entry and get Firefox to take it. This can occur on first starting Firefox, or later, if I cancel out of the first prompt because I don't initially anticipate needing any passwords.

11/3: I seem to be able to mostly eliminate the problem by making sure that any password-requiing site that I am visiting (or the Firefox homw page) has completely loaded before entering anything in the master password box. One never knows when a page update might hit you and zap the entry, however.

11/12: For some reason a second "submit," on a blank password box, is often required to make Firefox take the master password.
