I cannot manage Lockwise on my Desktop Firefox (German Firefox 69.02, Win 10/64), just a blank page

I installed Lockwise on my desktop PC. If I want to open Lockwise, Firefox will show "moz-extension://409360d6-ad10-497b-8030-c54a89be8cbf/list/manage.html" in the address bar, but the browser window will remain completely empty (white). What am I doing wrong? How can I manage my passwords in FIrefox? Are they lost, if I deinstall Lockwise again – as It worries me that it's not going as smoothly as it was promised?

Hi Brille2020, Have you tried disabling/enabling the extension?

I have removed and re-installed Lockwise twice and have not lost any passwords. Of course, it's always a good idea to have a copy (backup) of your Profile whenever you are toying with anything experimental.

Hi Brille2020, I recently found this on the Firefox Forum, courtesy of @cor-el:

Firefox Lockwise is already built-in in Firefox 68+ via the about:logins page.

You can modify/create these prefs on the about:config page to enable built-in Firefox Lockwise in Firefox 68 and 69.

signon.management.page.enabled = true signon.management.overrideURI = about:logins?filter=%DOMAIN%

You may have to create the latter as a new String pref.

You can reset the prefs to get the legacy password manager.

signon.management.overrideURI signon.management.page.enabled = false

You can use "Logins and Passwords" in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button to access the currently selected password manager (Lockwise or legacy) via about:logins. Lockwise opens in a new tab.

The Firefox Lockwise extension uses a Firefox Account to access the passwords on desktop. You need to have a Sync Account with Logins enabled to ensure that the Firefox passwords are uploaded to the Sync server. Lockwise needs to be connected to the same Firefox Account (desktop or the app for mobile).

Firefox 70 (currently Beta RC1) and later have Lockwise as a builtin enabled component accessible via the about:logins page. The legacy Password Manager can be accessed via this chrome URI.
