Why is Thunderbrd changing clickable URLs to text (from the godaddy server, from one website only -- other sites work fine) when message is retrieved?

The first image is what the email looks like on the godaddy server. The URL is clickable there. The second image is what the email looks like in Thunderbird 60.8.0, no extensions at all, Mac OS 10.12.6. The blue clickable URL has been changed to text(!). Happens every time on this kind of message from this site. This email comes into my "junk" account, bfb@educatioalfontware.com Yet when I Reply to the email, suddenly the hyperlink becomes active again (3rd image)! Might be related to the use of my actual email account, dave@educationalfontware.com? Note in the third image that the hyperlink that came into my dave@ account is active. This is the only website where this happens -- all other clickable hyperlinks work fine, from all other sites. The exact same thing happens on my wife's computer (Mac 10.11) -- for this kind of message -- from this site only, and she doesn't use a junk account. As a final attempt at fault isolation, I composed a test message in Thunderbird with a hyperlink and sent it to my bfb account. It was received OK back onto my computer and has a live hyperlink (image 4). A real head-scratcher, eh? Any thoughts? I'd be happy to Forward the troublesome email, with View All for the headers, if someone want to tell me where to send it. Thanks.

This sometimes happens if the sender uses a mail app on a mobile device, or even a program like the W10 Mail app. View the message source (Ctrl+U) and see if you can detect the mailing app or operating system. This wouldn't be a problem if senders of such apps embedded links in text, like this, instead of entering links directly.

Thanks twice. First, this is very likely, as she uses a mobile. When she sent me an identical email from her computer, it worked fine.

Second, I didn't know about command-U, and have been struggling to read message headers a couple of lines at a time. I'm a lot less than a Power User.
