Thunderbird shows messages duplicates

Windows 7, Thunderbird/60.8.0 Using corporate (custom) Dovecot-based mail server

When Inbox is opened, it shows several copies of the same messages. There are actually no message duplicates (the copies are identical, same headers, including same message IDs) on mail server.

Repairing folder (from "Properties")doesn't help.

How can that be fixed (and what additional details are required)?
