Am using Thunderbird on Mac as NNPT (newsgroup) access. The server i connect to requires authentication which i have provided..

However, the problem is, Thunderbird asks me to authenticate ever few minutes in the same session.. Is there a way to save credentials to authenticate without manually entering ?

I enter them on startup, which is fine, but i don't need to authenticate every few times i post in the same session,
