In Windows Live Mail I had several signatures, formal, informal, Danish, English and German. In Thunderbird it seems I can only have one. Is that really so?

Chosen solution

1. Open new letters 2. Add your text, format, signatures, subj, etc... 3. Menu "file" - "save as" - "template" 4. Open folder "templates" in your thunderbitd and duble-click mouse template 5. Edit the email, enter the address and send

Thank you. I thought that might be the only possible solution, so obviously this is the case.

However, should you consider improvement, a signature that could be inserted in the end of my mail replying to a mail I received, would be helpfuld - that is how most mails are conceived anyway. But thanks for your trouble. sebra
