External link in blogpost - 'Back' goes to different place in post

When you click on an external link in one of my blogposts, it goes to the correct page in Firefox. But when you then click on 'Back', it goes back to the post, but to the wrong place - about 10 'pages' above the link. My blog provider, Wordpress.com, says it must be the browser.

Eg, see my post https://soothfairy.wordpress.com/2016/08/14/racism-a-redundant-instinct

I should add that I just tried it in Chrome - and it's normal - goes backto the same place.
