Cannot copy website text anymore, tried everything

Samsung Note 8 with Firefox Nightly / Android 9.

Suddenly cannot copy text on websites anymore with long press. The controls toolbar shows up but the copy button is unresponsive.

Problem only ocurring with Firefox, reïnstalled without addons, no bluelight filters, ad/script blockers etc. but can't figure out. What more can I try to fix this?
