How do I make some extensions for downloading work, in Firefox 63.0.1?

1) I installed YouTube Video and Audio Downloader extension; as suggested, I added native-client 0.7.0, & ffmpeg as well. The options page for the plug-in showed native-client as registering, but not ffmpeg. I pasted /usr/local/bin/ffmpeg in the location line for ffmpeg, but to no apparent effect. Is this the correct thing (I barely speak Terminal), & how can I tell if it worked? 2) For the Free Download Manager Extension, I attempted to install the latest Free Download Manager 5.1.37, but my system wouldn't allow it. (A lengthy log report appeared instead.) Maybe my computer is too old (iMac7,1), though it runs Yosemite (OS X 10.10.5) & the program should be good for anything later than OS X 9. Any suggestions e.g. should I try an older version of FDM?

Where did you get those extensions?

more options

The extensions themselves were from: https://addons.mozilla.org

native-client 0.7.0 was from the author's site at: https://github.com/andy-portmen/native-client/releases/download/0.7.0/mac.zip

ffmpeg came from: https://evermeet.cx/ffmpeg/

FDM 5.1.37 is the recent release for Mac OS X 10.9 or later, from: https://dn3.freedownloadmanager.org/5/5.1-latest/fdm.dmg

Another native-client (for FDM) was got from: https://github.com/belaviyo/native-client/releases I suppose it would stop its extension saying "Loading..." in the browser. But since my computer won't even allow FDM into Applications, I guess there's no point.
