I'm on Thunderbird 60.2.1 (linux).

The email connected is a gmail.

When I start a reply, I can see three buttons at the bottom of the page:

  • - Save
  • - Send & Archive
  • - Send

If I press "Save" to save the draft, nothing happen.

In Account Settings > Copies & Folders > Draft and Templates, I can choose between keep draft messages in:

  • - "Draft" folder on: myemail@gmail.com
  • - Other: drafts on myemail@gmail.com

In both cases, nothing happen.
