How to fix Firefox stopped opening on one of 3 'users' on MacBook Pro running 10.9.5 (other users OK)?

My MacBook Pro, running 10.9.5, is partitioned into 3 distinct users. Firefox 57.0 suddenly stopped opening on one user while still working fine on the other two users. Any suggestions to resolve would be very welcome.
