yahoo's web site won't load, error message is certificate is selfsigned.

I have used Yahoo for years and recently I have been getting this error message. I have tried using their ip address as well with same results. I am able to get to there site with IEEE and Chrome just not with Mozilla. How do I resolve this problem. I have looked in the settings to see if there is a place to add trusted sites, but have not been able to locate a future like that in Mozilla.

hello, first please make sure that the date, time & timezone are set correctly on your system. if this doesn't solve the issue (or it is already set properly), a solution depends on the individual circumstances:

  • what is the error code shown when you click on advanced on that error page?
  • please also give us more information about the error by clicking on the error code, copying the text to the clipboard and then pasting it here into a reply in the forum.
