Why is "plugin clontainer for Firefox (32 bit)" process starting EVERY TIME I open Firefox? I am on 45 beta

This process used to run when using Flash, but now it opens every time I open Firefox. It's a resource hog, and I see no reason for it to run. My homepage is ixquick.com, so I don't understand this. I am almost ready to give up and find another browser. Any suggestions?
