When I suspect nasty cookies, I can't "clear all current history" in tool option. I uninstalled & downloaded again.. same problem

Ever since your last update I've been having this problem !!! As mentioned above I uninstalled... downloaded again... .. It happens when feed stops from a script trying to load... eventually I answer stop scrip... slow ... slow ... slow.... when I go into tools to clear all history & cookies... it won't go away.. it freezes .. I then have to go into help and refresh firefox... then go into my connections, disconnect... (clearing cashe), reconnect & go back into firefox .. where in time, the same thing happens again.
