why can't I zoom?!

Running a stock rooted note 4 and firefox 41 but zooming and text resizing is not working. Even with always zoom checked and the always zoom ad on downloaded nothing works! I like ad blocking with Firefox but this suuuuuucks. I'll have to go back to chrome if I can't zoom... please help!

I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice and even tried the beta version. Do I need an older version?
