Stop Russian mixing in with English Firefox Centos and Win 7?

Recently started looking at Django/Python/HTML. Looking at many sites for inspiration. Firefox on both Centos 6.7 and Win 7 Ultimate desktops showing Russian mixing in with English. During website display, typing in Google Search, etc... Example in Google Search: keyword 'field', type 'fi' switches to 'fo' where the 'o' has two dots. 'field' becomes 'fold'. Even showing translation in Preferences Page. Checked installed languages (only English installed), plug ins, etc...; nothing shows up. I am worried other things are happening behind the scenes beside annoying translation. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
