Can't open a website but I can with Safari

Trying to open: https://aierwave.aier.org/ No problem if I use Safari, but Firefox will not access it on my Mac computer. Times out. BUT... it will access it on my husband's Mac computer. Same Firefox version, but different OS: Mine 10.8.5, His 10.7.5. I've tried EVERYTHING: proxy changes, cookie deleting, history deleting. ....help.....
