Normally i see the number of emails appear after all my local folders separate , now also the total number in inbox folfer

It used to be like this on my local folders and inbox: folder1 (23) folder2 (4) and also for my inbox the numbers of emails only on my inbox Inbox( (2) and NOT also the numbers on my inbox + al the numers on my local folders. However now all the numbers of email of my inbox and in all my local folders appear in my inbox like this: Inbox (29). How can I change that back so just the numbers of my inbox appear on my Inbox folder and my local folders
