Cookies - Information that websites store on your computer are stored on your computer by websites you visit and contain information such as site‚ preferences‚ or login status.

On versions of the iPhone running iOS 5, cookies are disabled by default. This can prevent you from being able to log into certain websites.

This article describes how to enable cookies on the iPhone.

1. From the Home screen, select the Settings icon:

2. In Settings, select Safari:

3. Under Safari's settings, select "Accept Cookies":

4. In the cookie settings select "From visited":

You'll need to restart Safari for the new settings to take effect. To restart Safari:

1. Press the Home button again, and select the Safari icon to open Safari:

2. Press and hold the Home button for a few seconds, until the Home screen reappears.

3. Select the Safari icon again to reopen Safari.
