Hello, I'm experiencing an issue with tab groups in Firefox.

• I use multiple tab groups in my browser.
• Normally, if I close the browser (without manually saving the groups), Firefox restores everything exactly as it was when I reopen it including all my tab groups and their current tabs.
• However, if Firefox crashes while the groups are open, I run into a problem:

 * When I restart Firefox after the crash and try to open my tab groups, all the recent tabs are missing.
 * Instead of restoring the most recent state of the tab groups, Firefox loads an old, manually saved version from the past.
 * Any recent changes to the tab groups are completely lost.

This has happened multiple times now.

I'd appreciate any help or suggestions to prevent this data loss after crashes. Is there a way to make Firefox auto save tab group states more frequently, or restore the most recent session even after a crash?

Since 141 update I have constant problems with youtube. Page does not load at all or loads only partially. Icons on sidebar are broken, youtube logo is black. I tried disabling ublock and greasemonkey but it did not help. Refreshing page multiple times and using ctrl+f5 sometimes helps but issue returns often, every few videos/visits. Clearing cookies helps but only for few hours and then issue returns.

Is it related to WebGPU support that was supposed to be added in 141? Can I disable it somehow?

So I've got 6 tabs open in Firefox, all working properly. To help me focus on another task, I open a 2nd window in Firefox. It is, however, blank and unresponsive, doesn't show any extensions in the toolbar, but does show "Firefox View" which I don't normally have showing. I can only close the new window by using Task Manager to shut Firefox down completely or by right-clicking in the Taskbar on the dead window and selecting "close window". What's going on here? I just installed the browser and enabled Russian localization. Then I opened a page in English. A notification appeared with a suggestion to translate the page into another language. In the translator options, there is an option to select the language from which the translation will be made. There is Russian language there, but I chose English, it’s logical. And then comes the choice of the language into which the translation will be carried out, but there is no Russian language there. Why? How can I translate the page into Russian?

The only two new tab choices in Settings are only "Firefox Home (default)" and "Blank page". Is there a way to change this?

My last laptop let me use www.google.com as the home page in both new windows and new tabs, but on this new thinkpad running Firefox 141 I can only choose that for new windows and not for new tabs.

I accidentally refreshed Firefox when I was having problems and didn't realize Refresh meant wiping everything clean. I found another thread about this, but it's 8 years old and things have changed. How do I use the "Old Firefox" folder on my desktop to restore all my bookmarks, history, etc.?

We had a power cut yesterday during wild weather. When I restarted my iMac and opened Firefox I found that all my bookmarks had disappeared. I've done some investigating online for fix it steps but nothing is appropriate. Firefox is only listing one Profile for me.

I have had firefox work on my phone and computer for years. This laptop precedes my computer as well. Every time I open firefox the sync is disconnected and I am forced to log into firefox again. Additionally, it does not remember any of my saved passwords and asks me to "save password?" every single time. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, I have updated it, have done several reboots to my laptop but nothing seems to help.

Firefox on my mac has been acting buggy lately. The last time I quit and reopened it, all of my windows and tabs were gone. there is no restore previous session available and the recently closed tabs and windows options are grayed out. How can I restore?

I would like to disable automatic session restore completely. When I restart my PC, crashes or anything like that, I do not want Firefox to restore my previously opened tabs or windows. When I open firefox after a system reboot / crash, I want to only open my default home page. Only if I manually click History > Restore Previous Session should firefox ever restore my session, otherwise never restore my sessions.

I tried unchecking Settings > Startup > Open previous windows and tabs, and also tried following this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1182594

My sessions still restores after my computer restarts or crashes.

Why do I want this? When I reboot my computer, I want a clean slate to start from scratch, not the dozens of pages (and other software) I had open from my previous session.

I am running linux mint btw.

Whenever I try to log into my Eset Password Manager it says unable to log in offline. Yet Eset password manager works on other browsers. I have refresh the browser and removed and re add the Eset extension.

Do I meed a seperate Login for support.mozilla.org and addons.mozilla.org?
