Thunderbird will not download mail. It sends this: "The certificate for inbound.att.net does not come from a trusted source." "Location: inbound.att.net:995" Then it sends the data with the certificate information. I am not a programmer, I do not understand what I am supposed to do to get it going again.

Is there a theme or some other way to restore the classic styling instead of having these pills everywhere? This UX doesn't even make sense...tabs used to connect to the page content they were displaying, now it's just some disconnected oval; I have trouble seeing which tab is selected now because it's all various shades of grey that are about half a bit of luminosity away from each other...looking for suggestions on the best way to restore some sanity to this UI...

When starting thunderbird without a working internet connection, I get an annoying amount of dialog windows reminding me for each email message box/server that the connection can't be estabilshed. The german text is „Verbindung mit Server <server> konnte nicht hergestellt werden.“ (sorry, dont have the english one..., its basically „connection to server <server> couldnt be established“). One has to click "ok" on each of these warnings and there seems to be no possibility to silence them. I mean, I know that I don't have internet (or know that the internet is buggy atm, even if I retry to get messages.) To have a message at all could be okay, but it very much interferes with reading messages (which works fine with buggy internet...) as they just pop up. I even couldn't find any settings or configuration in the configuration list searching for anything containing „dialog“ or „connect“ (which would be my/the expected place for silencing any dialogs regarding connection issues.)

How can I get Thunderbird getting to work with me again and not interfering with workflow?

Salve, Rispondo alle precedenti in merito ai problemi di connessione e quindi di configurazione di un account gmail sul vs client. Dalle vs risposte pare non ci sia soluzione. Se è così è un peccato dopo anni di ottimo funzionamento, sarò costretto a cambiare client.

Okay so this never happened with Chrome, so I'm assuming it's a firefox only issue. Whilst I'm watching a video, if said video is playing in fullscreen, it'll often fade to black during different parts, such as whenever a flash happens or quick cuts (e.g. a film with lightning strikes, causes it to fade to black and it stays like that). It is SUPER annoying and it causes me to have to rewind if I miss something because of it! I don't watch YouTube in fullscreen because of it, but it even does it in streaming services! I honestly have had enough but do not want to switch back to Chrome.

Took this photo of the movie Cruella because I knew there was loads of flashing lights at one scene. You can see that the video is faded but the rest isn't. The second image is when I click multiple times to try and stop it! But it happens again directly after.

And yes, I've tried the 'full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter' and 'leave' in Advanced Preferences.

Hello there, I'm trying to add the surfshark extension to Firefox but I keep getting a pop-up asking if I want to go ahead and add the extension to Chrome. When I click cancel it just closes the pop-up, clicking 'Install now' just brings it up again. I've just istalled Surshark.

Any ideas ?

The "New" PDF previewer sucks, can we revert to the old one that actually worked ?! It's a "Preview" , maybe don't try to open everything and BE a PDF program inside the browser, the whole point is to get a "Quick" look so you can decide to open , or, delete it ! This is as Bad as MS Edge trying to take over for PDF's , Revert this change, or Give us a way to choose to use the old way ! Thank you.

Fire fox is my default browser. Amazon requires me to make fire fox my default browser in order to enable pass key on their app. I have done all of this yet pass key does not work I may need a newer version Perhaps you can help me make necessaty changes. I need this app for workplace functions. Please help

Hi, I just bought a Motorola android, as my good old Tesco phone was getting very creaky. I loaded my home Wi-Fi, but cannot find a page to type in a url to install a search engine and other internet sites. I’d like Firefox, but Google insists on being the 'Gatekeeper', and I must go through it to install Firefox.

How to type in my urls without permitting Google, and getting its intrusive parenting offering me masses of things I don't want? I'm not an expert - just a survivor who has 'got around' glitches since computers arrived in the Seventies. On my phone I just want telephone calls, texts and WhatsApp. Plus, Firefox to search the Internet.

I am sick of the moronic, toddler-aged toy apps which come pre-loaded on my new phone. I gave up 'Play stores', (Woolworths), when I became adult sixty years ago! Now this phone offers me apps like: "Candy Crush, Sugar Delight". Oh Please! I realise that seven-year-olds and early teens are the target phone markets, (parents resignedly footing the bills), but I'm past it (in every sense).

However, I'm not daft enough to delete Google in a hissy fit. It is so labyrinthine that disabling it can be severely punished for such disobedience.

I'm sure the solution is simple to you. Please tell me how!

P.S. The phone is obviously monitoring my searches! Quite disconcerting, for in the past hour it now presents me with a list of search engines to choose - but Firefox is not among them. God preserve us oldies from AI!

How can I get the address bar to take me to the URL I typed instead of giving me search results for what I typed? How can I set it so the only way to search the web is to go to the website of a search engine?

I have no accounts, no old emails, nothing.

With the most recent update, the autofill password background color is now white instead of black, as it had been forever, with my system settings on Dark Mode / system.

I cant see any place to change the autofill background color, other than follow system settings or set to dark mode. Which I have done both, restarted firefox and my PC - still showing white background. again, this just started with a recent firefox update, about a week or so ago, maybe there is a glitch in there?

I messaged support yesterday, but I haven't received a reply yet. I am having trouble logging into my account because I no longer have access to the associated email address; however, I can provide specific details proving the account belongs to me so that you can link it to a different email.

It's very odd. Normally moving an email, say from the Inbox to the relevant year's archive, takes "no time at all".

Which is true for all the mailboxes shown on the attached screenshot, EXCEPT for the four at the bottom. Moving even one message from Inbox to Yiddish can take ten seconds or longer (with the dreaded "Not Responding" occasionally). Moving something in the opposite direction is also screwy, only from those four.

I had thought that it was because they're rather large. This first started when there were just Yiddish and MSW, and I split off most of the earlier years into the archives shown. To no avail.

It's only an annoyance, but I'm puzzled about how such a thing could happen.

Also very slow tagging or untagging a message just in those mailboxes.
