I have found an old copy of FF 3.6.1 i think it is. Why do I have to use an old copy just to have toolbar and home icon on the same side of the screen????

I refuse to use a browser that does not have a toolbar and also has the home icon on the left side of the screen or the same side as the main items on the toolbar. That is why I am still using 3.6.1 I think it is as it is the latest version that I can find that suits my requirements. WHY HAVE YOU copied microsoft and removed the toolbar??? Please provide an option to switch it on and have the home icon on the same side as the main features. I dont care so much which side so long as it is the same. I use a laptop with a track pad most of the time and find it a annoying.
