why does my tabs on Ffoxskip a tab wehn i open a new tab isnt it suppose to opn tab beside the current tab ??

My tabs on firefox are acting kinda weird, when i right click on a link and click "open in new tab" it opens not beside the current tab but skips one only happens wen i have 2 or more, and i wat it to open beside the current tab. this happened before but i had gotten a new laptop now its happening again and its annyoing please help would be appreciated
