Hi,

I am having trouble deleting an email account in Thunderbird and hope you can help me resolve this issue.

When I click the "Delete" button, nothing happens. The "Set as Default" option is also unresponsive. I have already tried running Thunderbird as an administrator, but the problem persists.

Additionally, I tried setting up the account on my phone using QR codes, but it fails to load all my accounts. Out of 5 QR codes, Thunderbird only successfully scans 3, no matter what I try.

It seems like there might be a bug or corrupt profile data causing this, but I cannot locate the root cause. Could you please advise on how to fix this or manually remove the account?

Thanks, but unfortunately, none of the information helped solve my problem. Believe me, I spent about five hours searching and trying various options. There are no errors in the error console.

I am sorry that I cannot provide a solution or a workaround to circumvent this issue. I gave the link to the other discussion since you can find a link to the bug report https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2069041 If an application has a bug you must wait that the developers of the program write a bug fix which will be included in a future update.
