IPadOS 26.1 When I want to start a new search after viewing a webpage, I click at the top in the address bar and instead of the link being selected the page refreshes. I cannot change the address to view another page. The only way to accomplish starting new is to open a new tab.

Every browser I’ve used, Safari, Brave, Opera, etc. highlights the existing address when you double tap the address bar. There is the refresh icon at the far right, but I”m careful not to tap in that area, trying to avoid refreshing the page.

Is there an option to move the refresh option outside the address bar so that there isn’t this conflict?
