changing the account details held by Thunderbird
I want to close one of my email accounts but it is the one to which Thunderbird sends me emails, such as info about updates etc. I don't want to close the account and then find I get no information from Thunderbird. How can I change the email address that you use for me?

For what? Seriously, just about every interaction forum and list has it's own subscription process.
