Reset primary password
I need to reset my primary password but previous advice on the topic is confusing. One responds recommends deleting the key4.db file but I am concerned about deleting a file which caries a message that doing sop may impact on the operation of the program. Can someone give me a clear response of what I need to do. Cheers David

Go to tools>Developer tools>error console - enter this text
openDialog("chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xhtml")
- the Reset button should appear. All passwords for accounts will be deleted
Thanks David I have done this but when I pressed the reset button I was expecting a prompt to provide a new password but no such prompt occurred. How do I apply a new password.

Perhaps read the support article which contains the advice David provided as well as instructions on how to set a primary password.
