Credit card/debit card autofill do not work on android (Note 9)

I have been unable to use autofill for credit/debit cards for months now. It simply does nothing after I choose the card and successfully authenticate biometrics.

I have tried removing and reading cards. I have tried switching from beta to regular (I'm on a note 9). At a total loss and this is super frustrating. I am 100% sure autofill, sync, and remember cards are on.

Is this definitely a problem in Firefox for Android, not Firefox for desktop?

Correct, it is a mobile only problem. My desktop/laptop autofill both work fine.
