Personally I think it is a great idea.

But it's already possible to get the effect you are seeking ... the process to Import from an existing profile allows you to deselect importing existing messages.

This is the process I used, but it didn't matter what layout I'd set, so I had to try to recreate the profile from scratch (without success). The best I could get is the interface you see here https://postimg.cc/qgpS3P5b

but without the arrow next to Inbox that allows me to expand and see my email accounts. Consider that there are five of us in my family and we each have about three emails, so the view doesn't group together the various folders deleted mail, spam, and trash—if I set them to show only the inbox, I get an endless menu to scroll through. So I absolutely need to have all my inboxes at the top and all the other functions below.
