2 weeks ago I could send a group email, Now it says not of the form user@host I have an older version 128.8 I believe. The term mailing lists is never used. I have given all recipients the same nickname.

you have done what? I do not think there is anything anywhere that can use the display name (I assume that is your nickname) to send email.

I thin the term mailing list needs to be used. By you. Have you created one in your address book to send your mail to you designated list of contacts?
