I made a new folder in local folders. Then I right-clicked it and created two sub folders in it. I cannot see them. When I right-click again and try to create the sub folders again, I see a message that they exist already. This is the local folder, not in my email account. Please help. I tried to click show all folders with no luck.

but what did you call them? any punctuation like \ that may see the folder name cut in half. or a leading . that might see it hidden?

Simple names, no special characters. It was a new folder, so you cannot say it got corrupted. What I then found was - other sub folders are not showing. I wanted to move from outlook (not free) to thunderbird - but I guess I will have to think again.
