Thunderbird was not remembering passwords. As per the TB help db, we deleted file pkcs11.txt from profile. We restarted TB but problem did not go away. We decided to delete and reinstall the program. With the new install there is no pkcs11.txt file in the profile, and we are obviously unable to download any emails. Restarting TB did not reinstall the file. Where do we go from here?

Did you jump to the current release from an old version? Perhaps something prior to V65?
