connection limits
I have 10 different devices but they aren't all used at the same time. So does the 5 device limit mean that only 5 devices can be used (registered to be used) or does it mean that only those 5 registered devices can be used at any given time but if I shut one down a 6th device could then be connected?

Unfortunately, we are unable to increase the limit of devices allowed on a single subscription. It may be something we can look for in the future.
Your other option is to revoke permission from the 5th device and add it to the 6th one, but you'd have to do it every time you rotated between them.
