Signing in to sync on a new computer failed because gmail is currently down
I happened to try turning on Firefox Sync at the exact moment Gmail went down and started sending bounce messages to all senders (my Firefox account name is my gmail address). Now I'm locked out of my account with no way to get back in. Help!

Sorry, but we need some guidance from the Firefox Accounts team on how to unblock once Gmail is once again responding properly. Until then, I suggest you not try again and wait out the block (assuming it's a temporary block).
