MS snipping tool no longer seems to work on Firefox 65.0.1. Is there an add-on I can download which enables me to select a small part of the screen image and copy, save, etc?

You could use Firefox Screenshots - see :

In case you don't know what/where the 'Page Actions menu' is : just click on the three horizontal dots at the end of the address bar (next to the bookmark star).

(Windows snipping tool works just fine for me, though ..... )
