I am trying to setup my Exchange account on Thunderbird but getting the following error. 

The Kerberos/GSSAPI ticket was not accepted by the Outgoing server (SMTP) edbmails.com. Please check that you are logged in to the Kerberos/GSSAPI realm.

Any idea what could be the issue ?

You should check with your IT folks or email provider about the correct server settings.
