I changed my password today and deleted the old ones. Now, Thunderbird requires my new password each time I send out and email? Can someone help please?
I've changed my password today and deleted the old ones on the form. Now, each time I send out an email, Thunderbird requires me to re-enter my new password on the form. Or, it won't go further. I've read an article that talks about changing the hostname, it didn't work for me. Is there anyone out there that knows the answer? I'd appreciate it very much. RoxaneSJ

Did you check the box to have password manager remember your password when the dialog box comes up? Someone has to enter it when your providers server asks for it. Either you enter it or check the box for Thunderbird to remember it and enter it for you.

Yes, that was the problem as I didn't enter my password when the prompt came up in the dialog box. (I got this confused with the Master Password option under Security) Thank you so much for your help, I so appreciate your effort. RoxySJ
