Thunderbird 52.2.1 will not allow new or subfolders folders to be created in imap email account. it did before with no problem but for some reason ---- not now
When i need to create a new subfolder in the inbox of my imap emaill account, can create the folder in the dropdown menu but nothing shows under the inbox folder?? I have tried everything i can find on the net -- but to no avail. your kind assistance is highly appreciated.

Your email provider may limit the no. of hierarchy levels you're allowed to create on the server. Talk to your email provider.
